I was seeing some problems with this regarding various speed/duplex
mismatches. On the switch I disabled the span port. Then hard coded
the speed and duplex on the port doing the spanning. After that,
enabled the port and did not see any problems. Just a little tidbit....

Subject: Port spanning on Cat 5000
Anyone ever run into this problem? :
After spanning a port to do some sniffing, once finished I "set span
disable" and the receiving port will not reconnect back out to the
network.
I even tried "set port enable 2/10" to enable the port.
I have experienced this problem twice but usually it does not happen.
Stumped...
Thanks, Bryan (too much alphabet soup to humbly mention)
Oh yeah, looks like it's June for me in RTP. Anyone else?
