Mobile Ip command

I configured Mobile Ip.
I used IOS 12.1T but It doesn''t permit command:
ip mobile sercure host a.b.c.d spi 100 key cisco1

It just supports key in hex string.
Which does IOS version support key in ASCII string? (not hex string} and What
is relation between ASCII key string and hex key string?
