I just got another used 2514 for my lab but the boot proms were so old I had
to get Cisco to send me an upgrade. I just removed the old ones, installed
the new proms and nothing happens, not even a green OK led. So I figured I
did something wrong, and put the original ones back in and still nothing.
Now I am worse off than before.

Any thoughts as I have never had to swap the boot proms before.
