I agree with Chuck. I had this discussion on an NG about how as a hiring
manager I would prefer someone that came up with a NOS background than
someone that got lucky and started off working in networks. Maybe I'm just
biased because years ago I did Novell and NT work and now I do Cisco and a
little bit of Sun.
