dlsw bitswap confusion..

Hello all,

This may be a basic issue on dlsw : But I am having a tough time in
understanding ..Let me try to explain..

Ethernet0 R1 --------------------------------------R2 Ethernet 0
                                                            |
                                                            |
                                                     Token ring 0

I have dlsw connectivity between R1 and R2. I have a host on Ethernet
segement on R2 with a mac address of 1234.1234.1234. if my requirement is
to make r1 cache the entries of host on r1 ethernet segment. Do I have to
bit swap the mac address while specifying dlsw filters ?

Or if my host is on token ring do I have to bitswap. I think I am really
confused..on when I shud bitswap..
can someone help me ?
