Hi all,
During my tests i have seen a lot of examples that when we have
mutual redistribution betwen routing prot we need to aply route map to deny
the networks send in the first redistribution process ,
for example
net 10.0.0.0 / rip --------r1---------net 172.16.0.0 / ospf
redistribute rip to ospf ---ok
when redistribute ospf to rip deny netw 10.0.0.0 with an route-map
When we have more than one point of redistribution , we for sure
need apply route-map to avoid loops , but when we have only one
redistribution point we need to apply route-map? if yes, what is the rule to
do it ? or for prevention is good always do these filters? any help?
thanks
