Does anyone know of a way to force OSPF to choose an (IA) route
to a destination network over an intra area route (O).
OSPF Route preference behavior:
Intra Area (O)
Inter Area (IA)
External Type 1 (E1)
External Type 2 (E2)
I have tried to modify the administrative distance of the intra
area route to a high value, but still it chooses (O) over (IA).
distance 120 132.1.150.5 0.0.0.0
All routes from this neighbor are given an admin distance of 120
The two routes are:
IA 132.1.150.0 /24 (110/77) 132.1.20.2
O 132.1.150.0 /2v4 (120/1563) 132.1.150.5
Only the (O) route is installed in the routing table. (IA) route is
only installed when the (O) route disappears.
