Hi Sladjan,

I experienced the same result. Once I have no sync in R6 or R1, I got > for
all iBGP routes.

I am still looking for good explaination in Halabi book for that behavior..

Subject: lab 8a bootcamp- BGP problem

I am have been working on lab 8a

Here is bgp problem :

When redistributing ospf in to bgp 2 , I have tryed to do redistribution
ospf->bgp only on r2

Could not get all ospf routes in bgp table of ibgp peers ( r6 and r1)

is it route-reflector client problem ? ( I do not know enough...)

So let me us r1 (not a rr client)

So I have used r1( for redis os100->bgp2)and results were better...still
Some ospf routes were in bgp table but without ">"

I checked solutions....

Marc redistributed ospf in to bgp 2 on r1 and r6 . My question is WHY?

I was told that one redistribution (ospf to bgp2) should be enough for
whole AS2.

Also I think that "no sync" should not be used at all ... Is there
someone who can comment

on "no sync" in this lab.

Thanks,

Regards,

Sladjan
