I have thought about dialer watch. However, if you run ospf
over the BRI, the route that you watch will probably be
reinstated once the BRI is up, and then the BRI will go back
down, only to come back up as soon as the route is expired
again.

In other words, with dialer watch you'll end up with a
flapping backup interface.

Dialer watch springs to mind and there has been some debate
whether this
works with OSPF or not and Cisco do have some guidelines.
Best thing to do
is search the archives for Dialer watch.
