Jeongwoo,

Your config looks ok to me. Since this is the first time you have set up
terminal server, I have to ask; what kind of cable are you using between the
2509's async ports and the console ports on the other routers? It should be
the flat Cisco rollover cables (light blue or black) or you can use Cat5 in
a rollover pinout (not straight through or crossover).

I have gotten the noise and the overrun errors before when I had a bad
rollover cable. I hope this helps.

Subject: Terminal Server 2509 for the first time !!

Hi all
How can I get my 2509 terminal server to work?
Here is my config

TermServer#sh r

I have three other router that are r1, r2, and r3 respectively.
How can I get to r1, r2, or r3?
Isn't it this one? for example,
TermServer#r1
TermServer#r2
TermServer#r3
It did not work
I get "connection refused by remost host" error
and sometimes I get "Trying r2 (1.1.1.1, 2002)... Open" and get stuck.
I am using termserver for the first time.
Can someone guide me through how to use it?

In addition, here is output of "sh line"

TermServer#sh line
