check Halabi for it ,he has a nice few pages explaining it .
it is simply an access list with sequence no. will allow u to add and remove
a record without deleting the entire access-list ,plus it is more easier to
control the mask than the normal access list (for example u can use the "/"
format in it ,u can aslo determine the range of the masks u need to filter
on ,say u need to filter 172.16.0.0 with any mask from 16 to 24 ,u will have
a nice way to do this in single record)
