Yes, you will need IOS 12.1T. The command is:

int e0
ip address dhcp

It worked for me on my 2509. I found out info about it under the topic "Easy
IP" on CCO. BTW, don't forget that you may have to register your mac address
with your provider before you can get an IP on the router. If I were you, I
would not advertise the fact that the mac is for e0 on a router. Someone
might have a hang-up with that. I just gave my provider the mac and they
entered it into their database for me, no questions asked.
