Hai everyone,

Can someone correct me or back me up.

1) If a ethernet switch is involved I must use "ieee".

2) IBM environment I should choose "ibm".It is for source-route bridging,
runs automatic spanning tree. I don't understand diffrence between automatic
and manual spanning tree. Can someone explain me this.

3) dec is for ethernet as well. we choose either dec or ieee but the should
be the same to avoid loops.

4) I was reading on CD for 3900 they have still confusing way to choose the
STP algorithm and random coice might not work.

For SRB--------- run IBM STP at TrBRF and IEEE at TrCRF
For SRT --------- run IEEE at TrBRF and cisco STP at TrCRF
Again I donot understand why.
