Hi,

I have a question about nssa. I can't get to redistribute an external
default route into an nssa from the ASBR.

in the ASBR I have:

2600#sh ip ro

Gateway of last resort is 192.168.17.3 to network 0.0.0.0

172.16.0.0/16 is variably subnetted, 8 subnets, 2 masks
C 172.16.226.0/24 is directly connected, Ethernet0/0
C 172.16.227.0/24 is directly connected, Loopback0
O IA 172.16.25.0/24 [110/11] via 172.16.226.2, 00:30:17, Ethernet0/0
O IA 172.16.21.0/24 [110/13] via 172.16.226.2, 00:30:23, Ethernet0/0
O IA 172.16.22.0/24 [110/12] via 172.16.226.2, 00:30:23, Ethernet0/0

O IA 172.16.5.0/24 [110/11] via 172.16.226.2, 00:32:10, Ethernet0/0
O IA 172.16.2.0/24 [110/12] via 172.16.226.2, 00:30:23, Ethernet0/0
    192.168.228.0/25 is subnetted, 1 subnets
C 192.168.228.0 is directly connected, Loopback1
192.168.11.0/24 is variably subnetted, 2 subnets, 2 masks
C 192.168.11.2/32 is directly connected, Async65
C 192.168.11.0/24 is directly connected, Async65
O IA 192.168.17.0/24 [110/12] via 172.16.226.2, 00:30:23, Ethernet0/0
S* 0.0.0.0/0 [1/0] via 192.168.17.3

As you can see I have route to 0.0.0.0. WHY in other router of the nssa
Area 1 I don't have Default Type 7?

Besides I have other type 7 routes:

R1#sh ip ro
Codes: C - connected, S - static, I - IGRP, R - RIP, M - mobile, B - BGP
D - EIGRP, EX - EIGRP external, O - OSPF, IA - OSPF inter area
      N1 - OSPF NSSA external type 1, N2 - OSPF NSSA external type 2
      E1 - OSPF external type 1, E2 - OSPF external type 2, E - EGP
      i - IS-IS, L1 - IS-IS level-1, L2 - IS-IS level-2, * - candidate
default
      U - per-user static route, o - ODR

Gateway of last resort is not set
