Hi All,Its 'OSPF time' for questions...Thanks for your inputs...Ramesh.--------
-----1.OSPF:
My understanding is every rtr on a specific area will have the
map of all the rtrs pertaining to that area.Connection:
are0-area1-area4;
On area 0 ABR/router, I have the VL configured thro' area1 ABR - which
also
has the area4 interface. Since i do authentication on VL, i have the
'area 0 auth mess' configured on the area1 ABR. So if i give
'show ip ospf data' - am seeing area 0, area 1 and area 4 info here.
I dont see area 4 info on the are0 ABR when I give the 'show ip os dat'Is
this an exception for area4 because of VL?
--------------------------------------------------------------2.i am
looking to view the rtng updates thro some ospf debug
command - as i could see in the 'debug ip rip'. some command
that will output the actual 'network' rather than DBD that i see
in the debug 'ip ospf adj'. i cant see this due to link state
packets? may be there is a hidden command like the 'ip ospf monitor' toread
into the lsp's???? Thanks,Ramesh.
