On a couple routers, enter the interface command ip igmp join <multicast ip
address>
You should be able to see the entries in the mroute table along the path.
If you're like me, you might have a hard time believing what you see with
just joining groups, so you can download a little app called "MCaster" which
runs on Windows hosts.
