Troubleshooting Question

that you have during the troubleshooting section is your lab diagram. So it
would seem very important to record *everything* possible on your network
diagram. The obvious things are ip addresses, AS numbers, Area numbers,
interface types (DTE/DCE), non-default timer settings, switch port numbers,
SPIDs. What other information should I add to my drawing? Would recording
the Mac addresses of the first LAN inteface of each router be helpful? What
about writing down the number of routes in the routing table of each
router? What about MAC addresses for DLSW icanreach entries? Can you have
an additional sheet of information (say an IP address matrix) that is
seperate from your diagram? Or does everything have to go on one sheet?
