I use SecureCRT all the time and it's great.
It let's me write vbscripts that can be executed when opening certain saved
sessions and also let's you map scripts to certain keys.
It makes my life a lot easier.
Make sure you choose the "Serial" option under the protocol drop-down box
and enter in the appropriate com-port settings.
