use the confreg command the change your baud rate to 115200.  If you use
the default 9600...it takes FOREVER.  Then send the IOS image to the
router through the console cable using XModem.  Make sure the transfer
mode matches on the router and the sending program.
And BE patient...waits for the prompts on the xmodem command.
When you are done, change the baud back to 9600 and reboot!
I use Tera Term Pro as my terminal and it's a SNAP to transfer files to
the router this way.
