If you want to save some bucks, try booting your image off a TFTP server.
Works great, but a liittle slow! There is usually some memory on ebay.

Hi Group!
Need Flash & RAM for a 2501. Can anyone recommend a CHEAP option for getting
some. Cisco made stuff is expensive, not worried about warranty since router
is old. Currently, 1x8MB Flash simm + 1 4mb RAM simm, apparently need to
take it to 16mb flash & 16 mb RAM for R/S lab practice (is this right?)
