RE: basic isdn setup problem

I have tried running ISDN w/o authentication and it has never worked. Is
there a way to do this? I assumed since when you map your IP to an LDN and
included the name argument that you would have to use authentication. How
else would that name be passed? PPP isn't going to pass names (w/o authent)
nor is TCP, so .............. Is there a way to do this?

I noticed your using chap authentication, have you tried removing the chap
authentication then sending? Also you could try debugging your
authentication "debug ppp auth" and seeing if you are indeed getting
authenticated.

Subject: basic isdn setup problem

anyone see any reasons for the encap failures when the dialer map shows the
path and the isdn info is okay (supposedly)?
