Well, I figured out what the problem was. Since I was using a Microsoft
PC, I was required to use the 'client-identifier' command, rather than the
'hardware-address' command.
Also, as an FYI...be careful what value you place as arguments in the 2
commands above. A PC with a MAC address of:
00-c0-4f-97-98-af
would have a value of:
0100.c04f.9798.af
as the value for both the 'hardware-address' and 'client-identifier'
commands,
where 01 represents the ethernet media type.
Cory

Well,
'debug dhcp' and 'debug dhcp detail' gave nothing at all.
'debug ip packet detail' gave the following:
Router#
15:52:05: IP: s=0.0.0.0 (Ethernet0/0), d=255.255.255.255, len 328, rcvd 2
15:52:05: UDP src=68, dst=67
Router#
15:52:07: IP: s=0.0.0.0 (Ethernet0/0), d=255.255.255.255, len 328, rcvd 2
15:52:07: UDP src=68, dst=67
Router#
15:52:09: IP: s=0.0.0.0 (Ethernet0/0), d=255.255.255.255, len 328, rcvd 2
15:52:09: UDP src=68, dst=67
Router#
15:52:11: IP: s=0.0.0.0 (Ethernet0/0), d=255.255.255.255, len 328, rcvd 2
15:52:12: UDP src=68, dst=67

As well as a debug output:
debug dhcp detail
debug ip packet detail
