M4 is a metric # 4 screw, analogous to a 6-32 English screw (but not
compatible!!!). Phillips is obvious, countersunk means the head tapers from
a flat top to the threaded body of the screw at about a 45-60 degree angle.

A working substitute is a Mark 1 Gravity mount.
