Or use another IGP routing protocol, OSPF for example, to be backed up by
ISDN. Then OSPF on-demand circuit or dialer watch can be used if there
are ip route changes. Don't see why to backup BGP using ISDN without using the
above method, or backup interface. If using the above method, filter the
the dialer-list such that bgp traffic will never place a call over isdn.
If using OSPF demand circuit a call will be placed if routing changes occur,
and then the route to the BGP peer will be rerouted based on the new OSPF
routes.
Seems like a lot more stable way of doing BGP backup, and avoids a lot
of BGP routing flaps. BGP doesn't like this to much.
