Is this a typo, what does it mean?

Looking at Internet Routing Architectures first edition on page 338. =
About 1/3 way down the page Halabi says:=20

1 Incoming traffic toward network 172.16.1.0/24 takes the SF link.

I cannot figure out what he is referring to. He also references it in =
the next point which is why I don't think it is a typo, but what does SF =
mean? =20
