I think you should play around with "neighbor x.x.x.x timers" command so
that to configure a really high keepalive and hold timers.
I don't know if you can disable keepalives.
Me, I had a problem playing with the above command only. I had to play with
"timers bgp .."command also.May be it was a bug may be not. Not sure.
Please let us know your results.
