According to my search on CCO:
Error Message
%OSPF-4-NOTREDIST4: Database scanner: external LSA [inet] is lost,
reinstalls
Explanation The software detected an unexpected condition. The router will
take corrective action and continue.
Recommended Action Copy the error message exactly as it appears on the
console or in the system log. Issue the show tech-support command to gather
data that may provide information to determine the nature of the error. If
you cannot determine the nature of the error from the error message text or
from the show tech-support output, call your Cisco technical support
representative and provide the representative with the gathered information.
--------------
Looks like you're a big winner! You've got one of those special errors!
Just a note to those who may not already know, if one enters the error code
into the CCO search engine, sometimes the returns will give you the
information you need.
Chuck

Subject: ospf error messages - anyone seen this
Hi all,
I have a router redistributing between IGRP and OSPF. So I put in a static
route to null 0 because
one of the ospf subnets (170.100.66.0) is subnetted at 27 bits and my IGRP
is running at the 24 bit boundary.
However, now I am constantly getting ospf-4-notredist4: database scnner
external lsa 170.100.66.0/24 is lost, reinstalls.
Anyone seen this. I have distribute lists in place to prevent
route-feedback, and am redistributing static to
under igrp to get this route.
my configs and a display logging are attached as a text file.
Thanks,
Julie Ann
