Hi Robert, here are my 2 cents:(apologies, if someone already suggested =
these, i haven't gone thru the thread)
The fix depends on the routing table in R3.
assume the link R3-R4 in in subnet 1.1.1.1/30.
1) If R3 has any classful route in its routing table AND link btw R3-R4 =
doesn't use an address which fall in that classfull routeyou can use ip =
default-network <classful-net> in R3. You shd make this classful route =
available in R4 also.
(if the linkR3-R4 subnet is 1.1.1.1/30 and the classful route u have is =
1.0.0.0 ---->this doesn't work-igrp won't advertise this. 2.0.0.0 will =
work fine),=20
2)In R3, If there is any ospf route that dosn't start with 1. . (eg, =
2.2.2.0/24)redistribute ospf into igrp(u must use default-metric), so =
igrp will thave that a classfull 2.0.0.0 and use ip-default-netw =
2.0.0.0
3)If R3 doesn't have any route othere that 1.x.x.x, try making the R3-R4 =
link unnumbered. Igrp will not make any address check on unnumered links =
when advertising routes. this must work. i haven't tried though. let me =
know if it does.

the wording is like what u see in the lab. i hope you have not =
copy/pasted fm the ccie-lab(no offence pls-just want to stick to NDA),=20

OSPF is configured between R2 and R3 (working good). I am trying to =
figure out what they mean below and how would you do that? Would you =
configure IGRP between R3 and R4 and then redistribute OSPF into IGRP =
and use the " ip default-network" in R3?
   =20
Configure IGRP between R3 and R4. Ensure that all routers in the =
network can access all interfaces on all the routers. Configuring ONLY =
R3, send a default route to R4 without using static routes, route maps, =
or summary addresses.=20
