I've noticed something else I wasn't expecting.

Suppose you have 2 border peers (different groups) that are dynamically
peered with eachother.

Also suppose you have remote peers in either group that wish to connect to
eachother.

The dynamic peering between the two border peers can remain disconnected,
while the remote peer-on-demand peers connect to eachother..

eg :

BOT#sh dlsw peer
Peers: state pkts_rx pkts_tx type drops ckts TCP
uptime
 TCP 1.1.1.2 CONNECT 105 83 pod 0 1 0
00:07:22
 TCP 1.1.1.1 DISCONN 0 0 dynam 0 0 -
-
Total number of connected peers: 1
Total number of connections: 1

BOT#sh dlsw cir
Index local addr(lsap) remote addr(dsap) state uptime
1744830468 0055.0025.c9dd(F0) 0000.f640.64ca(F0) CONNECTED
00:06:17
Total number of circuits connected: 1
