I believe you could do this in three steps. First, do not advertise
the network via ospf, i.e. no network statement. Then, do a
redistribute connected statement under the ospf process. Since the
172 network will now be an external route (it was redistributed) you
can use the summary-address command under the ospf process.

hi all
have a question,I have only one area (area 0) in my ospf network,one
of the interface's address is 172.10.1.1/24,I want to summaried the
route to 172.10.0.0/16,but because I only have one area,I can't use
the "area 0 range" command,how can i resolve this problem?and if I
meet same question in lab,what is the best answer?
