I've seen this problem on MC3810's using answering machines. Some
brands
would just not ring when attached to the 3810. We tried modifying
everything
we could think of to no avail. I even called TAC on it and they were no
help. Cisco claims that the ring voltages they supply are within
specs. I
didn't measure them for myself. All I know is that some brands worked
and
others didn't.
