   Well, netbios would be a good way to check ;) What i did to test my
   remote source route/translation bridging was haveing a PC running
   WinNT with only NetBios installed, no TCP on a Token Ring card. I have
   another PC with only NetBIOS installed with an ethernet card. And they
   can see each other in network neighborhood and transfer files between
   them without probs.

   I have done both Remote SRB/TRL and DLSw+ with this setup.
