you can used passive-interface with OSPF but passive-interface behave
differently as compared to DV routing protocol.In OSPF it tear down the
neighbor relationship with the neighbor, by stopping sending multicast hello
packet so the neighbr relation is not formed.
but in distance vector it only stop sending update to its neighbor but still
received the broadcast update.
