The lower-end one is the 550, which is still quite cool... The 800 is
definitely cooler and much more flexible than any of the others out there,
but on the other hand, you're looking at a minimum investment of about
$5,500 to get the base unit and a BRI module. Now granted, this gives you 2
PRI/T1's and 8 BRI's at that point, but......

If you have the money, I wholeheartedly recommend purchasing one. The
flexibility is wonderful!

(A 550 can be configured with a quad BRI card (only 4 BRIs), and will run
you about $4,000 configured.)

There is a really neat WAN simulator available from Adtran. The original
model was an 800+, but I believe they came out with a new one that is model
525? This thing does PRI, BRI, T1, Frame Relay. Not sure if ATM is in the
works. I have one and it is great!
