eigrp STRICTLY FOLLOWS split-horizon rules-
as it hybrid- more advanced than simple DV, but
has absolutly NO LS features. No adjacencies, no areas, no lsa - nothing.

I am not sure if EIGRP and other Link state protocols need Split
Horrizons because they don't send out routing updates. All they do is have
neighboring relationship and send out link state information. EIGRP is
hybrid so not sure but check ACRC book. That covers all characteristics of
EIGRP in detail.
