you should issue the following commands to ensure
the ports are in the forwarding Action. Also the
counters should be increasing TX and RX.

Also ensure IP routing is off in the R1 and R2
routers.

Sh bridge:

Router>sh bridge

Total of 300 station blocks, 295 free
Codes: P - permanent, S - self

Bridge Group 1:

Address Action Interface Age RX count TX count
00e0.1ed1.94c8 forward Ethernet0 0 2638 28
0060.3efa.99eb forward Serial0 0 6090 256
0060.3efa.99ec forward Ethernet0 0 7170 1245
00e0.1ed1.9470 forward Ethernet0 0 4545 1567
00e0.1ed1.9472 forward Serial0 5 1 0

Also issue a SHOW SPAN

Hope that helps
Dan
