Couple things:

Are you running any other Cisco Software on that system (like CSPM, for
example)? CSPM binds its web server to port 8080 by default. The release
notes for CSPM address the Doc-CD conflict.

What OS is this happening on? Check the archives for the bunches-o-messages
and info on the Win2000 workaround.

Are you running any other apps that bind to port 8080 on this system?

Subject: Problems reading the CD

Hi,

I have a stupid question. I am always using CCO to access the
documentation
CD. This is because I can not get this new "browser" installation thing
to
work. I can only read the CD's when I connect to it using a the local
host
ip address 127.0.0.1:8080 (this is how the "browser installation" CD
installes everything. But when I reboot my system it does not work
anymore
and I have to do it all over again. I can not read the stuff using the
file
-> open feature in my browser, I get just jiberisch.

Help!!!!!

By the way, when I use Windows 2000, the whole browser installation
thing
does not work at all!!!!

Please help this stupid CD wana user!!!

Gerwin
