Asynchrone trafic in a synchrone line

Hi,

My config : two 2600 with a NM4 a/s
The two 2600 are connected with a back-to-back cable (Synchrone line) or a
leased line.
I have a terminal (VT100) connected on a asynchrone port on the first routeur
and on the second router i have a server (Unix server) connected on a
asynchrone port too.
Is it possible to have a connection between the terminal and the server
without any other equipement?
If it possible could you explain me how can i do that?
