Hi all,
I recently attended SIngapore's lab and was surprised by a few things.
In my earlier attempt in Sydney, the whole 1st day's examination paper was give
n to me.
However, in Singapore, I was given the 1st day's paper in two sections. AM (9:3
0-11:30am) and
PM(12pm-5pm).
The AM paper had requirements to set up routing domains etc. but did not specif
y the domain numbers
to be used.
The problem was that after lunch, the second part of the paper specified the do
main numbers to be
used and even some additional routing requirements.
I found that I had to waste time reconfiguring/rechecking stuff I had done in t
he AM paper! I
questioned the proctor and was
told that this was a 'new' standard practised at all testing centres.
Is this true? Can anyone confirm this? I find this 'new' rule ridiculuos! How c
an I plan the
configuration without the second part of the paper? Further, if I am quicker in
configuration, I may
end up redoing a lot of the paper!
The time given to me for configuration was 7 hours with 30 min for briefing on
lab rules. In Sydney,
we had 7.5 hours for lab and the time was 9-12:30, 1pm - 5pm. Why is this incon
sistent? Again the
proctor said that it is now 'standardized'.
Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks
