It's all just a matter of personalities. Alan is the proctor in RTP, and I
have found him to be honest and as helpful as he can be. On my last outing
at San Jose however I found Kathe to be no help at all and she refused to
offer any help at.

One specific case involved me presenting her with a question about the test,
and offering two interpretations.
Kathe declined to clarify the questions, stating, "If you read the question
carefully enough, you will find your answer".
I took her advice (if you can call it that) and interpreted the question
very specifically, even though it did not make sense. Afterwards when she
reviewed the test with me she informed me that the other interpretation was
the one she expected. Thanks alot!!! She also told me, of my ISDN config.
"Your solution worked, but was not correct." What are you supposed to do
with that?

At least when I ask Alan a question about an issue on the test that is not
clear, he takes the time to reformulate the questions if necessary. Also
things were either wrong, or they weren't with Alan.

I don't know if Alan is pushing for you to pass the test like some claim
Kathe does, but I would have been better off in San Jose WITHOUT a proctor.
At least I would have been mislead into choosing the wrong interpretation of
a question.

If you can get lucky enough to get Jeff in RTP (he only subs once in a
while) count your blessings. Jeff is very friendly and the most helpful
proctor I have seen.

Thank You
