dial-type on FXS's ?

Anyone know why with 12.09 code I can not set the dial-type on a FXS
port. I keep seeing the dial-type command in the config guide but a
"?" does not show it up as a command under voice-port x/x/x.

The reason I want to use it is to set a port to use pulse dialing rather
than DMTF. In Ireland most phones use pulse dialing so my two handsets
only support pulse.
