The bandwidth for a GRE tunnel is about 9Mbps. I found this out the hard way wh
en I tried to tunnel eigrp in a GRE tunnel over a 100Mbps line.

Folks,

Does anybody have any rules of thumb on tunneling, ie. sizing, extra
bandwidth increase or latency intruduced? Just wondering what is the impact
of tunneling say, IPoverIP.
