This is a direct quote from the 11.2 Bridging and IBM Networking
Configuration Guide from the Doc CD:

"Because DLSw+ does not do local translation between different LAN types,
Router B must be configured for SR/TLB by
issuing the source-bridge transparent command. Also, note that the bridge
groups are configured on the ethernet interfaces."

Whether that is a false statement or not certainly can be debated. However,
it has been written in the documentation, The Cisco Bible. There is no time
for debate in the lab exam. The proctor can use the above scrpiture against
you. My advice would be to do it 'by the book'.
Avoid the uncertainty.
