Any routes that are "redistributed" are always external OSPF routes. One
possible way I can think is to add appropriate interface to the OSPF routing
process and than summarize those address ranges using route-maps. With this
you would end up with the connected route and the summary route. Then using
Route-maps filter connected routes and allow the summarized route.
Summarized routes would be your native OSPF routes.
I don't know if this would actually work. I have'nt experimented yet.
Let us know if this work.

Subject: RE: OSPF redistribution
Iīve just asked because in my sample lab, there is a question: "Create
a
loopback interface and REDISTRIBUTE it into OSPF area 4. Ensure that this
network appears in the routing tables of the other routers as internal
(OSPF)"
I know if I had configured this network with the network statement
under
OSPF process I would have this network as internal in routersīrouting
tables. I
was just thinking if we could do it in a different way. Iīve been trying to
look
for infos regarding route-maps, etc etc, but I havenīt any other solution
yet...

What is wrong with using a "network" statement? That would certainly make
these internal. Is that too easy?

Subject: OSPF redistribution
Hi guys... I have a router running OSPF in S0īs network (area 4) and I
want
to redistribute the connected subnets (E0īs and Loopbackīs) into this area.
The
requirement is that these subnets must appear as "internal" to the other
routers
in OSPF... Does anyone have a solution for this?!
Tks in advance...
