Obviously you can get a new version which fixes the problem. BUT, what if
you don't have access to the new version? The solution is to set your baud
as low as possible in hyperterm, like 110, boot the router. You will see
nothing, but bang some keys for about 20 seconds. Set hyperterm back to
9600, close and reopen, and the router will be sitting at rommon mode!! I
couldn't believe this worked until I saw it myself. Try it out.

Hope that helps.

Subject: Password recovery

Hi,

I am practicing password recovery at home. I have both NT4.0 server and
workstation, I tried Ctrl-Break doesn't work with NT's Hyperterminal. Could
anyone tell me what the break key is under NT? THanks a lot,

Mike
