This may be a very stupid question, but was there any reason other than
being required to know "Everything" for the lab that you were trying to
configure a LAT service that does an autocommand? Is there a list or
information that I'm not aware of that lists specific things to know how to
do for the lab? Just wondering...

FOund the solution,
at R4, need to enable the service : lat service COOL5 enable
and also need to set enable password, otherwise connection will be closed.
debug lat event at R5 did show that COOL5 service is rx :)
