Here's my stab

1. Most people would probably want to draw it out for themselves especially
related to point 2 where you need to know where your addresses are assigned.
You may be asked to draw it out you may not.

2. This may vary from test to test.

3. This will also vary from test to test. it's unlikely that you will be
asked to ascertain the physiacl layout of the network with no clues, but it
could happen.
