Hello everyone ,

What is the best option to track remote eBGP neighbor( over service provider MPLS ) to do fast re-convergence ?

Have you seen this?

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bgp/configuration/15-s/irg-15-s-book/bgp-monitor-protocol.html

And another question ,

If we have 4 or more sites and we need to have BGP peering ( Over MPLS service provider ) what is the best option ? eBGP ? iBGP ? using RR ?
tunneling ? or ...

We do eBGP from our common AS at every CE - 65001 to our provider's dummy AS - 65000 and just do allow-as in at all sites. Works great. We use Centurylink MPLS.

Thanks,

Joe
