Existing CCIE programs and SDN are not related unless we are talking about
Network programmability Developer/Designer and Engineer certifications
being offered.

Technology, Protocols and related functionalities stays the same for SDN.
Whilst CCIE tests the candidates knowledge of IOS/IOS-XR/XE with equal
weightage for technology, SDN may not. It doesn't means that OTV is going
away, however one may need to learn VxLANs and LISP as well ;)

At this pace, SDN might take couple more years to be known widely, but you
never know. Pilots and Prototypes do exist out there.

Design, Implementation and tshoot will have little overlap between SDN and
what is done today.

If you are looking at a place to start, refer http://mininet.org/ and
Python programming.
