I would say CCIE are involved in critical tasks which requires prior
experience. Hence More than the cert , most of the IT managers trust
experience, since most of it is a different ball game all together, You
hardly fiddle with OSPF or BGP at the protocol level, You mostly have to do
the actual cause at a hardware level, even if we have to encounter issues
at these levels TAC shall take over it. So, Try gaining some experience by
doing field work or working from a NOC perspective, I am not aware about
Italy so cannot comment on Job openings.
And to be a CCIE, i agree with Yakasai, I dont think you need any Real Word
Experience, most of the CCIE exams are way away from Real world
implementations and obscure designs, You just got to know how things work
